81. ALL NITE @ SILOSO
Another year has passed.
Happy 2008!
:)

We asked some dungu to take a pic for us and he completely missed out the Merlion *slaps forehead*! Lemon, KL, Rin, Lin, Vin and the Merlion platform on the far right... Brr......
The giant silver durian!
Slin and I at Pasir Ris! Dirty water compared to the beaches in Oz. Heh..
:P
Fiuuuung.. Ke-blooom~
I'm actually quite surprised I managed to take such a nice pic of the fireworks.
Heh! PRO-ness!!
Siloso beach party. Foam pouring down. Wet wet wet. Ahh, we still have our tops on! Haha. Lin, KL and I stripped while dancing. SexaY!
Think this was taken while Incognito was still on stage. Explains the 'please-kill-me-now' look on Lemon's face. Poor thing... *pat pat*

The things we leave behind; the sadness, the tears, the sorrow, the gloom, the grief, the blues, the doldrums, the oppression, the agony, the pain..
The moments we cherish; the joy, the laughter, the smiles, the humour, the enjoyment, the optimism, the blessedness, the bliss, the contentedness, the rapture, the pleasure..
Happy 2008!
:)
Sue Lin, Cherina, Larry, and I went down to Singapore to celebrate the eve of 2008 with Lemon. Tagged along with Rin's dad's drive there on the 30th, where he dropped us off at Toa Payoh at mid afternoon. Lugging our bags around the busy street, off the 4 of us went in search of the closest MRT station. My first time on Singapore's MRT! Hehe!
Alighted at Bugis, where our lodging is at and where we were supposed to meet Lemon. Our meeting point - McDonalds. It's such a good landmark! Only bad thing was...we were waiting at different branches. Bugis Junction, Bugis Village.. What the heck right? LOL.. Oh and while waiting, I saw Jason and Doreen! What a smallworld Singapore.. Oh right....
xD
Anyway, eventually met up with Lemon and checked-in to the backpackers' hostel. Aha, yeah we stayed at a budget hostel!! Was hella fun, it's the company that counts! Spent the rest of the day/night at Orchard. No big hoo-ha, just regretted that I didn't buy a somewhat mischievous shirt from New Urban Male. Expensive larr..

Day 2, jalan-jalan at Marina Bay (MRT again.. Woohoo! Gotta love those trains. Hehe) where one of the Merlion is at. Chilled out for hours at Starbucks under the bridge. Oh I love the Singapore weather! Cool and breezy..
Then we went over to Pasir Ris where we rented some bikes at the park by the beach. The park's huge and it's just awesome that they have proper pedestrian and cycling paths. We got lost, turned into different and wrong paths, and got split up. Rin and I high-speeded straight into a mangrove path, while Lin, who was literally stuck with KL on a tandem, hanged a right with Lemon tailing behind them. After like 15 mins, we bumped into the tandem bikers (Haha!) but they lost Lemon.. WTH!
:P
Night came and off we went to the Siloso Beach Party! Reached there with only minutes to spare before the new year. We were laughing, "clinking" our plastic cups of beer to our resolutions when all of a sudden, 10 minutes to midnight.. the pyrotechnics started.
I'm actually quite surprised I managed to take such a nice pic of the fireworks.
Heh! PRO-ness!!
It lasted for no more than 5 minutes, I swear! Lin and I were saying that it was probably just a teaser, and there would be more to come momentarily. Midnight came and went, no countdown! Hahaha. Some joke! And from midnight to 2am, they had this jazz funk band from the UK who pride themselves upon the name Incognito, who successfully bored the entire crowd. Was jumpin' with joy when they stepped off the stage! Heheh. We left at about 5am and caught the first bus at 6am in the station. Got on, fell asleep, and missed our stop. In fact, we missed ALL the stops. Next thing I know (1 and a half hours later), Lemon was nudging me to wake me up. We were at the last stop! Friggin' hilarious! Ended up taking the MRT (...Yay!) back to Bugis.
Yup.. A NYE well spent! Heaps of fun, but was dead tired the next day during the drive home (or were we? ... playing prank sms and all. Heh) Oh, and look what we found.. Something which seems to be now extinct in Malaysia....
