60. BURDEN OF THE PAST
You know that you're stressed when...
- You sit on the bed wondering if you were waking up or going to sleep.
- You're in the shower, but you put the shampoo into your mouth.
- You swallow the gargle when you brush your teeth.
- You're horribly tired, but you just can't close your eyes and sleep.
- When drinking a cup of steaming hot tea, you gulp it down like cold water.
- Everything your friends say pisses you off.
- You forget to wear undies.
- You wear your shirts inside out.
- You shade multiple choice questions with an ink pen.
- You forget to write your name and student number on the exam sheets.
- You trip over a cordless phone.
- You curse and swear at the most trivial things.
- You insist on drinking water with a straw.
- You panic and your heart races when someone mentions the word "exam" or "paper".
Was taking a long shower a few days back and noticed that the water was ankle deep. First thing that came to my mind was "Oh crap. I clogged up the drainage. Hell, plumbing isn't gonna be cheap!". Was getting panicky before I realised..... No wonder lar!!!

Haw Haw.... *phew!*
I like June. Why? Because June is a very innocently sweet name, and because Hannah Tan is on the FHM calendar for that month. Wahuhuhooo! Thank goodness I won't be here for the whole of July, 'coz guess who's on that month?! Heh heh heh...
Met up with Trish and friends last weekend. Went cafe hopping. I especially liked this nifty cafe called Icey Ice where they served 'snow ice'. Kinda like ice-kacang, but the ice is flavored prior to being shaved, and it's really light, ultra fine, silky smooth, and mega soft. Awesome stuff.. We talked about almost everything. From sandy beaches to sandy bums, from homosexuals to sexual harassments, from advertisements to business, from TV programs to Calvin and Hobbes, from fine dining to bubble tea.. yeh, you get the picture. And at one point Elaine noted that I was the youngest of the group and started calling me G from then on. That got us to an endless competition of sarcasm, "oooh's and aaah's", and of course, laughter! A great company makes a great get-together. If you're wondering what's G, think TV classifications.. Then we had dinner with Loon at this Japanese place called Matsuri where we had wonderful beef tataki and sashimi! YummmmM!
=.=
Went out with Jin for dinner at Freo last night, where we had fish and chips! Mmm.... it was SO goooood! Fish was yumylicious and the chips were... well, chips are always sinfully high in calories and saturated fat anyway. Lol. Chatted with him about his newfound life at Jandakot airport. Hahah! It seems that he has to do a lot of donkey duties! Like cleaning the kitchen, gardening, typing data, unlocking hangars, assisting in aircraft re-fuels, flight ops planning, and radio control. But the good thing is that the enjoyment he gets from flying makes these chores insignificant!
Choon Yi left last week for rural NSW. The house is really quiet now without her Planet Shakers music. Funnee, she can listen to the same track for the entire night! ONE NIGHT, ONE SONG on repeat! So much that I have unvoluntarily memorized the lyrics to some of them. CY and I share the same habit of taking showers in the craziest hours in the middle of the night. And no, we don't shower together... Doh! Usually immediately after the other. The later one will get to avoid the chill of the cold floor and ventilation, and enjoy the warmth of the bathroom instead! LOL~ Anyway, would like to wish CY all the best in whatever she does, wherever she is!
It's only 11:30 now, but I'm gonna try to get to bed anyhow. I want to rid the habit of sleeping after 2am, and actually wake up to breakfast instead of lunch. Heh~
Expecting my next update here to be from HOME!
See y'all really soon. Take care.
Much love ~
