70. SUMMER SUN

Yesterday was a very bad laundry day. 2 of my favourite clothings were ruined. My favourite white t-shirt mysteriously got stained with faint blotches of black from an unknown source. Like, what the heck? There were 2 other white shirts in the same load, and they came out unharmed! And the shape of the shirt was also altered. The bottom end of the tee is now significantly wider. I think this is because the load was too large, thus causing the shirt to get stuck around the spinner in the washing machine and got stretched. So sad! The second piece of clothing are my best pair of sports shorts; When I ironed it (as always), it became crisp and tore like paper! Double sadness... Wanna cry now..
:(

I cooked vegetarian curry today! Hehe. I bought eggplant and cabbage from the supermarket, and okra and taufu-pok from the asian store. Curry paste was pre-packed from home. Mmm.. Yummy..... It was so easy to make. Just put everything into the pot, add coconut milk & water, and wait for 'round 10 minutes for the vegetables to soften. Yay, I have pack lunch to bring to class tomorrow. Save money..
xD

Talking about saving money.. I thought I was kiasu, until I met Elaine. Original kiasu Singaporean. I lose flat to her! She brings her own lunch everyday and tries to persuade me to do the same, and tells me that I'm wasting money when I buy from the refectory. The most geng part is... she even brings her phone charger to uni so she can save on electricity bills! Whoa.. The Jedi Master of Kiasu-ness!~ Haha, kiddin'. She's my very very good friend who's particularly cautious about her financial expenditures. She doesn't compare and compete with us academically, and is, in fact, very helpful when asked for help.

Daylight Savings Time started today and I have lost 1 hour of precious sleep because of that. Officially, the whole of last night's 1am just disappeared as we were told to set our clocks to 2am when it strikes 1. I think it's good, in a way, coz it has been rather annoying having sun-rise at 5am for the past few weeks. Now at least sun-rise is at 6am, a more decent hour. Still has me wondering how many people must have missed their flights or whatever timed functions or events. Imagine if you weren't aware of the DST change; you think you're on time, but you're an hour late! How screwed up is that! Don't laugh, it happens! I'm hoping that it will never happen to me! Ever..!

Mehh, Murdoch's like the last uni to start the summer break. Sue Lin told me that her last paper in Monash for this semester is on November 7. Geezers, I don't finish my classes until November 9! My last paper's around the last week of Nov. Nyeh.. ~1 month delay. My ticket home is firmed on the 1st of Dec. So yes, have one day to catch up with Lemon before she leaves for Singapore on the 3rd. Huhuhuhu....~

Aights... So tired and sleepy now. Was such a goodboy I vacuumed the whole house today. Haha. And now I'm exhausted. Time to sleeeeep~ Take care all.
